Ralph Foutz

ROSSVILLE Ralph Weston Foutz, 77, passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 at a local hospital. He had lived most of his life in the Chattanooga and North Ga., area and was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. He was an Electrician by trade and had worked as a Technician for G.E. Aerospace in Huntsville, AL. Mr. Foutz was a loving father and grandfather who had a wonderful sense of humor and was always helping others.He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Leoma Foutz; and brother, Eugene Foutz.Survivors include five sons, Lebron Foutz, of Rossville, Ga., Jerry Foutz, of Cape Coral, Fla., Chris Foutz, of Savannah, Ga., Tim Foutz, of Rossville, Ga., and Keith Foutz, of Savannah, Ga.; three brothers, Ernest, Harold, and Loyd Foutz, all of Rossville, Ga.; two sisters, JoAnn Barksdale, of Ringgold, Ga., and Loretta Cheek, of Huntsville, Ala.; nine grandchildren; and several niece and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lanesouthcrestchapel.com.Graveside services will be held Tuesday Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. at the TN-GA Memorial Park.The family will receive friends today from 5-7 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
