Charlotte Anderson

Charlotte Galbraith Anderson, 80, of Chattanooga, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and was a member of Clifton Hills Baptist Church. She retired from Cutters Laboratory as an Inspector in 1983 after many years of service and loved spending time with her family and growing flowers. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all that knew her.She was preceded in death by her parents, William Galbraith and Mildred Hale; husband, Hobert E. Anderson Sr.; sister, Roberta Brown; and two brothers, James Wesley Hale and Howard Samuel Hale. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ed (Brenda) Anderson, of Flintstone, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Ann (Robin) Stephens of Chattanooga; brothers, Thomas Galbraith, of Rossville, William Galbraith, of Chattanooga, and John Hale, of Alexandria, Va.; five grandchildren, Chris Horton, Daniel Anderson, Rachel Anderson, David Stephens and Katrina Stephens; six great-grandchildren, Austin, Isabella, Brianna, Sam, Keisha and Wesley; and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with the Rev.
