ROSSVILLE June Ballard Gray, 86, passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, in a local hospital.She had lived in Rossville since 1956 and was retired from Rossville Mills (Culp, Inc.) and was a member of the Mountain View Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her family and listening to bluegrass music.She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Ballard, George Owens and Cecil Gray; parents, Berthel and Lela Jackson; sisters, Mildred "Pet" Jackson, Bertha Chancey, Betty Ledford and Linda Greason; brother, Dumas Jackson.Survivors include her children, Jewell (Marlin) Graves, Troy (Wanda) Ballard, Laura Ballard, Dianne Britton and Ella (Steve) Pell; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several stepchildren, nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Minister Dick Hillis and grandson, Anthony Ballard officiating.
