LaVaughn Roberson

LaVaughn Roberson of Chattanooga died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014. She was born Nov. 2, 1923 in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., daughter of Wallace and Bertha Baxter. She was preceded in death by her husband John Roberson. Mrs. Roberson was a member of the East Ridge Baptist Church, and was a graduate of Lawrence County High School. Survivors include children Sandy Barber, Beverly Skinner and Mark (Susan) Roberson; grandchildren Daniel (Sarah) Barber, Melissa (Chad) Taylor and Brett Roberson; great grandchildren Breanna Taylor and Jackson Barber; brother Kenneth Meadows. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. today, Jan. 27 in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. Ronnie Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, East. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.
