Sharon Magin

Sharon Magin, 69, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at a local hospital. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area, retired in 2006 from BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee with 11 years of service, and was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Johnson and Lillie Kidwell Johnson; brothers, Clinton Johnson and Wendell Johnson; sister, Clariese Martin. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Thomas Magin; daughter, Kimberly (Terry) Holman, of Ringgold; stepdaughters, Lisa (Ronnie) Locke, of Ringgold and Tina Rogers, of Ringgold; sister, Joyce (Tom) Johnson Bendowski, of Tampa, Fla.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. today at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
