Karen Faye James Holland, 53, departed this life unexpectedly on Sunday, March 23, 2014, to be in the presence of the Lord. Survivors include her husband, Eric Holland; devoted friend, Ronald King; daughter, Janie (Jason Jennings) Carter; son, Eric (Stephanie) James; sisters, Sharon (Gary) Howard, Latoya Foster, and Angie (Donald King); brothers, Terry (Sophelia) James and Bruce Evans; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the Trammell Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 1, 2014, 11 a.m. at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church 1107 N Hickory St with Pastor James Leslie officiating, internment following at Highland Cemetery.
