Carlos Sweatt

Carlos Sweatt, 67, of Chattanooga, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, at his home. Carlos was a lifelong resident of Kingspoint and owner/operator of S&S Motorsports of Eastdale. he had a passion for drag racing and engine building. He will be greatly missed by everyone. He was a graduate of Kirkman High School and Nashville Diesel College. He was a member of Local 654 and NHRA and son of the late Estel and Nanna Belle Sweatt and was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Sweatt; two brothers, Carroll and Robert. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Donnette; two daughters, Allison and Amanda; two grandsons, Colin Shannon and Knox Johnson; two adopted sons, Dwight Sweatt and Tim Bankston. Come join the family for a celebration of his life from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, at his home, 2506 N. Wilder Road, Chattanooga, Please feel free to bring any mementos you would like to share with family and friends.
