Frances Carpenter

Mary Frances Henry Carpenter, 91, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014. Mrs. Carpenter was born in Berry, Ala. She was a retired real estate broker and the owner of Carpenter Realtors for 50 years. She was a member of Kings Point Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Elmer Carpenter Jr.; her parents Taylor E. Henry and Gertrude L. Henry; sister, Emma Grace Morgan; brothers, William E. Henry and Max Henry. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Sanders and husband, Jimmy D. Sanders; one granddaughter, Dr. Mary Anna Sanders; sister-in-law and lifelong friend Ann C. Broyles; several nieces and nephews; many loving and compassionate caregivers from NHC Healthcare of Chattanooga. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. on Saturday with Rev. Ernie Reno officiating.
