Amy Thomasson

Amy Middleton Thomasson, 83, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Thomasson was retired from the Fulton County Probate Court as Deputy Clerk following many years of service and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Julia Hopkins; husband, Charles Thomasson; and brothers, Allen G. Hopkins and Arthur Hopkins Jr. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Gloria Middleton, of Rising Fawn, Ga., and Michael and Sharon Middleton, of Chattanooga; stepsons, James and Dennis Thomasson; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today, Oct. 30, at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South, with Pastor Jim Bennett officiating.
