Linda Jeffery

Linda Lou Holifield Jeffery, 71, died Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 28, 2014, at her home. She was born in Jefferson City, Mo., on Nov. 19, 1942. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Jeffery Sr.; son, Leonard "Jeff" Jeffery Jr.; parents, Roy and Mildred Johnson Holifield; three brothers, R.L., Gary and Mitchell Holifield; two sisters, Esther Shrader and Barbara Taylor. Surviving include two sons, Kenny (Nancy) Jeffery and Chris (Michelle) Holifield, of Trenton, Ga.; three daughters, Amy (Elbert) Williams, Christy Smith, and Cheryl Little, all of Trenton, Ga.; two sisters Imogene (Charlie) Hurst, of Kissie Mills, Mo. and Nancy Carmody, of Hendersonville, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and special friend, Sandra Taylor; also several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, in Payne Cemetery with Rev. Don Taylor and Rev. Rick Crabtree officiating with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
