I don't understand the lack of outrage in the African American community. The only ones that seemed to have profitted were Ms. Sherrie and the owner of the lots that were purchased on MLK. Race really doesn't have anything to do with this, it is corruption. Get over it. There are corrupt African Americans too!

Let's see a little old IHOP is going to cause all manner of traffic issues BUT a 9,000 something unit apartment complex 1 block from East Brainerd Road and Gunbarrell-- no problem! If you live in that district you need to throw that jerk out next election.

The TMCC needs to be disolved. No entity whether Urban Leauge, The Chattanooga Chamber or anyone would ever "take it over" - too much debt and too much baggage. Nope its done.

The mayor hired the auditor, created an auditing department full of staff. Why? Oh to keep checks and balances in place for our City, because there was corruption going on. There were shocking findings, one adminstrator(political opponent of Littlefield)was charged with count after count of theft and has yet to be tried. A few others theft of $1,000.00, $500.00 here, there, etc(not that that's ok)but if the focus is on petty stuff, then we don't see the REAL theft of tax dollars - ex: Farmers Market hundreds of thousands of dollars. In 2008 Leamon Pierce discovered that per city charter the auditor position was to be hired by and supervised by City Council. They mayor wanted to share the auditor and found it insulting that his office could hold some influence on said position. He & some city council even tried to change the charter at election time.A compromise was struck and an auditing committee was to be created overseen by city council- Where is that committee now? (http://www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_134343.asp I tried to find similar article on TFP but nothing - different editor back then.) The city audit on TMCC happened ONLY after TFP article was published. Go on TFP dig deeper, look at all the previous city audits and see if there is a back story. Bet you will find one everytime. The city auditor works for the mayor.

Finally! Someone(Judge Bean) has the ---- um courage to say it. King Littleman has a vendetta! Don't know if about McKamey organization is involved - but if someone with the right skills digs deeper into EVERY move KLM makes, you will find either a motive that benefits him or is pay back for DARING to challenge him.

Wasn't it Judge Paty that bucked King Littleman by bringing to light his demand that The Pet Company be closed down via her recusel from the case? Now he is threatening to let one or both of the judges go? You don't buck him EVER! He is an out of control thug.
